KUNGLIGA TEKNISKA HOEGSKOLAN

KTH Royal Institute of Technology is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution, which gathers more than 13,000 full-time students, over 1,700 Ph.D students and approximately 3,600 full-time employees. The Division of Computational Science and Technology (CST) develops methods, computing environments and data analysis capabilities to solve scientific questions in a multi-disciplinary setting shaping the future of computing, including high-performance computing (HPC), adaptive algorithms, machine learning, visual data analysis, partial differential equation (PDE) models and networks.

In the GENEX project, a team of CST researchers will develop HPC scalable code for high-fidelity simulations of piezoelectric materials using PDE models. The research group is a co-founder of the FEniCS open-source computing platform and  has a long experience from PDE models and HPC computing, both in an academic and in an industrial context.
