The final event of the GENEX project, scheduled for the 17th and 18th of February 2026, will mark a significant milestone in the collaborative efforts to advance sustainable and digital innovation in aerospace manufacturing. Hosted at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA) in Zaragoza, Spain, the first day will feature a dynamic agenda designed to bring together leading researchers, industry stakeholders, and policy makers. Sessions will explore cutting-edge topics such as digital and eco-efficient manufacturing technologies, integrated health management systems for aerostructures, and the digitalisation of composite repair. Engaging round tables will foster dialogue on the adoption of recyclable materials, the impact of digitalisation on aviation sustainability and certification, and the future of health monitoring systems.
Preliminary agenda
DAY 1 - Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA) located in Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain
DAY 2 - Teruel Airport
- Tarmac - José Moliner | Tarmac
