GENEX’s first annual meeting

GENEX consortium had its first annual meeting on September 19 in the German Aerospace Center (DLR) premises in Braunschweig, Germany.

Advancements in the digitalization of
⚙️Efficient manufacturing of recyclable composites
⚙️ In-service monitoring of composite components
⚙️ Repair processes and tools
were presented and fruitful discussions occurred among partners, as a team effort, to address open issues, track potential risks, and schedule the next steps.

GENEX will be at the 13th EASN International conference by participating in the CINEA workshop on Digitalization of Manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing and MRO

The 13th EASN International Conference on "Innovation in Aviation & Space for Opening New Horizons" will take place in Salerno, Italy from September 5–8, 2023, and GENEX members are more than excited that will be participating. More specifically, in the frame of this renowned event, GENEX is one of the projects that will be presented in the session on the digitalization of manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing, and MRO that is being hosted by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).

The second EASN periodic Newsletter for 2023 has been released! Learn more about the April highlights of the GENEX project, including the debut of the GENEX poster to JEC World Exhibition April as well as the presentation of the overall GENEX structure and main objectives, in the General Assembly of the Commercial Aircraft Composite Repair Committee (CACRC), at EASA Headquarters Cologne by the GENEX partner GMI AERO.

GENEX 1st progress meeting

The GENEX team met for the 1st progress meeting of the project on the 7th and 8th of March, in Paris, France. They were two days full of rewarding discussions based on presentations addressing the ongoing tasks, list of open points, blocking aspects, and next activities in all WPs.
