The dawn of 2023 could not be better for the GENEX project marked with an introductory article published in the prestigious magazine CompositesWorld.

On Friday, December 16, GENEX had its first clustering event with the projects funded under the same topic (i.e., Next generation digital aircraft transformation in design, manufacturing, integration, and maintenance). It was promoted by IDEKO.

The last issue for 2022 of the quarterly e-newsletter of the European Aeronautics Science Network has just been released, covering top-notch and exciting topics relevant to the aeronautics community.
In this issue, the launch of the GENEX project is announced along with its envisions and final goal.

The GENEX project – “Next end-to-end digital framework for optimized manufacturing and maintenance of next generation aircraft composite structures” is a new 42-month Horizon Europe project launched on September 1, 2022, through the realization of its kick-off meeting at ITAINNOVA (ITA) premises in Zaragoza, Spain.
